Stars...

I walked outside right now, and i paused for a bit to stare at the stars...
I remember, long ago, i sat on the brick wall, gazing at the stars with my neighbor, alex, and his older brother timmy. We sat on the side of their house, talking bout our futures, the things we can do later on in life, and the little things before we head out on our own.

Now when i think back on it, timmy future has ended, 3+ years back, never for anyone to see him agian..

Alex is now far away, and carries the burden of a distraught family.

And im standing here, with those shattered ideals...

My life coulda been much worse...
